This logo for Chesapeake Bank’s “We Make It Easy” campaign needed to reflect the bank’s friendly, local style, while accentuating its fast and accessible services.
After presenting sketches, the group decided to go with the idea of a flying dot. The wings are fun, yet fast, the dot says "done," much like a period at the end of a sentence.
In Illustrator, I turned the sketch into a 3-dimensional file. I used the bank's colors and typography provided by the creative director.
