The Highly Electric Lightning Bug is the story of Silas Watts, a little bug who's big on courage.

My challenge, as illustrator, was to bring the author’s vision to life; she imagined a James Dean-like little guy with a hard and soft side. I did character sketches and storyboards in pencil, and then created digital art.
